Web sites that are good starts for helping you on the start of your mission and calling

One place is a great start for women who would like to start off with a good foundation in their christian walk! I love recommending things I've read myself because as sisters in Christ we need to support one another in the growth process. I'm firm in believing that we need tools to help support our reading of God's word!

Some of the famous authors, pastors, teachers, and other laypersons with in the universal body of Christ whom I trust to read material from are; Elizabeth Gorege, John MacAuther, Charles Stanley, Jack Graham these are just a few of the men/women I purchase materials from! I think that when you study its good to know who to look and search for when needing good tools to help you in your walk with the Lord!

One of my favorite books that I recommend that every woman read is called "A Woman after God's Own Heart", written by my favorite woman's author, speaker and teacher, Elizabeth George.

Do you desire to be just like King David?

The Bible says David was after God's own heart, he desired nothing more than to be intimate with God daily!Though he loved God with all of his being, David struggled in his walk with God. He had worries, trials, much to cry over regarding his many sins that consumed him on a daily basis. The one thing David desired over all that he knew and wanted was to be close to his God, now our God!

Have you ever felt like David before? Maybe you have some of the same struggles of daily wanting to surrender to God but you can't because sin is hurting your fellowship with the Lord! You know that you should pray before walking out the door, you know that reading your bible before bed time is encouragement to your spiritual walk! You even understand that you haven't felt the same emotionally, physically because your life style isn't where it should be...

Just remember that God has an open door policy, he never turns away anyone who's in need of spiritual healing or sincere repentance of the heart! Remember you are loved in what ever season God has you in.

Why Women on a Mission need to be prayerful?

As women we are called by God for a greater purpose in this life, we need to be in the mindset of prayer. We need to understand that prayer is just like a vital organ to our spiritual lives, without it we can’t be conquerors’ of this world. Your prayer life is your personal communication and intimate time with the Lord, it’s personal, it’s a commitment, it’s a blessing! Communication with the Lord should be on our hearts and minds daily whether sitting in a cubical, professional office setting, during travel, or just at home with our family.

This year the challenge should be to have a quiet time daily with the Lord, a time of the day where you spend time with the Lord for 5,10, 20 minutes of the day reading, and praying back “His Holy Word”. Here are some tips that I begin my day with to daily dedicate a place to spend time with the Lord.

Think of a time when you are least distracted or busy with other things during the day.

Be consistent with the place and time you meet with the Lord daily.

Make sure that your family is constantly aware of the importance of your time with the Lord.

All usage of any technology such as: T.V, cell phone, phone calls should remain off limits during your prayer time.

Remember your time should be spent praying, listening, and responding to the Lord.

She's on a mission to obey " God"

Psalm 119: 11-12 Says; Your word have I hidden in my heart , that I might not sin against you. v.12) Blessed are You, O Lord!

Some of you may be familiar with this scripture but the question is how often do we live up to it? I must admit I'm guilty of not obeying when I should, sometimes we get in the heat of a moment of weakness and want our flesh to be fulfilled! I think there some basic principles to consider when trying to obey God's will and commandments for your personal life and growth.

The list of healthy spiritual habits to start with;

1. Believe in him whole heartily in all of his sovereignty!

2. Choose to live for him daily, he will guide your steps daily.

3. Obey him, surrender over your will to follow his plans which are perfect for you.

4. Thank him, for the past that saved you and future purposes he will use you in.

5. Serve him, by serving others in Christ and of the world that he may be glorified.

6. Earnestly seek to fellowship with him quietly and daily.

7. Share your testimony of grace and mercy he's shown you and how those individuals may come to know him and the plan he has for them also.

These steps can carry all of us a long way when they are practiced and lived-out daily, God doesn't want to compete for your time he wants a intimate relationship with you! How do your plans and priorities measure up with God's will and plans for you? May be you should have relocated but for some reason chose to stay, or maybe you took a job when the Lord wanted you to remain at home to care for a loved one. It could be that you're restless nights are happening because God wants you to serve in a capacity you've tried ignoring! What ever it may be God's ultimate desire is that your obedience to him leads you to a closer relationship with him!

My sister, stay focused, continue your mission!

She's on a Mission to get her house in order...

The bible says' in Proverbs 14: 1 The wise women builds her house, but the foolish pulls it down with her hands.
Now I know that homemaking seems to be a subject far off the radar for some of you but this is a responsibility given to you by God! Often times we want to avoid the inevitiable which is to own up to the place value of where  we've been  positioned in regarding our homes, marriages, singleness, and christian walk.

Some of you say well, I cook, clean, do laundry, run a business, go to school, in charge of a ministry within your church, caretaker of elderly parents, you name it we've all had the opportunity to be used in one of these capacities young or older! We are exhausted and weary some of us, we fill let down by God because we don't see the fruits of our labor, it feels as if all we do is in-vain. Society says staying home and caring for a family is lazy unless you happen to give up a corporate high-end paying job and decided well now that all is perfect I can afford to have a baby.

There is not only no mistake in your position in life because God is in control of it all even for those of you who haven't made a conscious decision of trusting the Lord as savior of your life, he's aware of it all! Take control of your home by;

1. Consistent reading of God's Word and prayer life
2. Christian woman mentor to encourage you
3. Read other resources of christian books, articles, etc to help aid you in home management
4. Write down your goals daily check off what you accomplish, make a new list with those you don't complete.
5. Invest in tools, resources, for your personal spiritual growth!

P.S. My sister aside from God in heaven, no one will make the investment into your spiritual account but you!

SHE'S ON A MISSION: What is a Mission?

SHE'S ON A MISSION: What is a Mission?: "A mission is a special assignment given to a person or group: an agent on a secret mission. What is your personal mission today, right now!..."

What is a Mission?

A mission is a special assignment given to a person or group: an agent on a secret mission.

What is your personal mission today, right now! I know you're a woman, mother, wife, career professional, college graduate, entrepreneur, stay home mother, lay-teacher at your church, party girl who (kicks it!) likes to be loose on the week-ends. Something gives you a drive daily even if its to stay home in your bed.

Ladies you have the greatest opportunity of a life time! Now you might think...what? What gives, is she trying to sell something, or convince me to change, my life is comfortable right now! You say or think...man I'm in a good space and place in my life I don't feel changing things are necessary!

You're right I can't and wouldn't want to change you, but the Lord my God I hope will allow a seed of thought to penetrate your mind to know that you've had an official assignment/mission personally assigned to you from birth till now! Your life is a teaching tool for those who will have circumstances happen to them just as you once did but now you're in the driver's seat to mentor or encourage one another that's what this mission is about...its about God using you for the glory of his kingdom!

"My mission is to give encouragement to you, pray for you and with you as you walk through your own journey"!To help aid, support, mentor, teach and or share with those who desire to connect with me through this blog!
