What are your new goals for 2011

You know every year we make the same resolutions about our weight, relationships, education etc. The question is do we ever complete them? Well I'll be the first to say "NO", I don't usually stick to my goal dates. That doesn't necessarily say a lot about us as to whether we're a woman of our word.

The greatest concern for me is my god given abilities and gifts in Christ going to waste because I failed to plan so I've accepted the failure that came along with those goals that fell through the cracks. This is my year and yours for new fellowships, ministries, and learning to have true intimacy with God who deserves us at our best and not after what I call our left overs from the day!

Three crucial steps to take first before writing down goals;
____________________________________________________________

1. True repentance and re-dedication to the fellowship between you and the Lord.

2. Prayer and an honest search for God's will in your life.

3. Consider the pros and cons on how these goals with affect current family situation.

I love and pray for you all and hope that the Lord speaks to you in such a way that your spirit and heart are comforted by peace!

May the New Year be a blessing to you all!

Web sites that are good starts for helping you on the start of your mission and calling

One place is a great start for women who would like to start off with a good foundation in their christian walk! I love recommending things I've read myself because as sisters in Christ we need to support one another in the growth process. I'm firm in believing that we need tools to help support our reading of God's word!

Some of the famous authors, pastors, teachers, and other laypersons with in the universal body of Christ whom I trust to read material from are; Elizabeth Gorege, John MacAuther, Charles Stanley, Jack Graham these are just a few of the men/women I purchase materials from! I think that when you study its good to know who to look and search for when needing good tools to help you in your walk with the Lord!

One of my favorite books that I recommend that every woman read is called "A Woman after God's Own Heart", written by my favorite woman's author, speaker and teacher, Elizabeth George.

Do you desire to be just like King David?

The Bible says David was after God's own heart, he desired nothing more than to be intimate with God daily!Though he loved God with all of his being, David struggled in his walk with God. He had worries, trials, much to cry over regarding his many sins that consumed him on a daily basis. The one thing David desired over all that he knew and wanted was to be close to his God, now our God!

Have you ever felt like David before? Maybe you have some of the same struggles of daily wanting to surrender to God but you can't because sin is hurting your fellowship with the Lord! You know that you should pray before walking out the door, you know that reading your bible before bed time is encouragement to your spiritual walk! You even understand that you haven't felt the same emotionally, physically because your life style isn't where it should be...

Just remember that God has an open door policy, he never turns away anyone who's in need of spiritual healing or sincere repentance of the heart! Remember you are loved in what ever season God has you in.
